Made with rolled oats, nut butter and Clean Lean Protein, it bakes into golden clusters with just the right balance of sweetness and crunch

Ingredients:

  • 1 ⅔ cups rolled oats
  • 3 scoops Nuzest Clean Lean Protein Rich Chocolate
  • ⅓ cup smooth, runny peanut butter or almond butter
  • ⅓ cup maple syrup or honey
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup mixed coconut flakes, nuts and banana chips

Method:

  1. Preheat oven to 160°C / 325°F and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, mix the rolled oats and Clean Lean Protein until combined.
  3. Add the nut butter, maple syrup (or honey) and vanilla extract. Stir well until the mixture is evenly coated.
  4. Fold through the coconut flakes, nuts and banana chips.
  5. Spread the mixture evenly onto the prepared tray and press down lightly.
  6. Bake for 22–25 minutes, stirring halfway through to ensure even baking and to gently break up clusters. Watch the nuts carefully so they toast lightly without burning.
  7. Allow the granola to cool completely on the tray so it crisps up.

To serve

Sprinkle over yoghurt, smoothie bowls or homemade nice cream, or enjoy by the handful as a crunchy snack.

Storage

Store in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks, or freeze for longer freshness.
